I love quick little knits when it’s nasty and hot outside. I started this hat yesterday and finished it up this afternoon.
Details:
Pattern: Ganomy by Elizabeth Zimmermann from Knitter’s Almanac
Yarn: Lamb’s Pride Bulky in Lotus Pink and Victorian Pink, left over from my Fairly Easy Fair Isle.
Needles: US9/ 5.25mm

The yarn is all bathed and fluffy now. The picture is a little light, but you get the general idea. I’m very happy with this. Again, this is 100% Superwash Wool, about 12 wpi. It fluffed up a lot when I washed it. I would like it to be thinner but it will work!

It’s a bad picture but you get the idea. This is my swatch for Mystery Stole 3, in Knit Picks Shadow in Oregon Coast Heather. The yarn is very pretty, it’s beige with flecks of red, orange, blue, green and gold. It’s slightly fuzzy and crisp feeling, and not nearly as soft as their Alpaca [...]
