Panoramas

snowy planet

I love taking panoramic photos and this week I’ve been having a lot of fun making little planets.  I used the instructions from this Photojojo post, it’s really easy to follow and the results are great.  This first picture is one I took back in 2006, after we got some snow and before the houses across the street were built, you can see it here.  Since the original panorama isn’t a full 360° it looks a little off close up, you can see the seam where the edges of the pictures came together, but it’s not bad.

My living room

This is a full 360° view of my living room, which is open to the kitchen and dining room.  I had to take over 50 pictures to get the whole room and I still missed part of the ceiling and floor.  I really would like to do more of these in my house but I’ll have to do some cleaning first.

Soccer Planet

This is taken from another old panorama I took it at one of my cousin’s soccer games.

Backyard Planet

And this is my back yard.  I actually took these pictures (30 or so) with the intent of making a little planet.  My house is on the bottom and the big circle of dirt is where our pool goes.  We have an above ground pool and last week it was so windy that the pool blew over, it hasn’t even been warm enough to swim this year so we just took it down.

I don’t have anything crafty to write about.  I have to finish my work project by next Monday and I should be getting some yarn in the mail next week, so I’ll have something soon.
