Long time, no see. The puppy has been eating all my time lately, I haven’t done much of anything except chase her around.
But I am knitting. This is a Pomatomus sock from Knitty in Opal Croc. I’ve knit the leg and about half the foot. They’re knitting up pretty fast (I think I started them Friday) and the pattern is well written and easy to remember once you get started. They really look more complicated than they are.
Drive by posting today. I wish I had something pretty that I had knit to show you but I’m still not knitting. While my shoulder doesn’t hurt as bad as it did, knitting still makes it very sore.
All I’ve been doing is chasing after the crazy dog, I haven’t really had a chance to do much else, including sleep.
I got a package in the mail yesterday! My book, Luxury Knitting and my silver M stitch marker came from Ivete came. The book is great so far, I’ve just read a little about cashmere and kind of thumbed through it. Sally thinks it tastes good, she’s already chewed up one corner of the cover. I don’t know if I’ll make anything from it but all the fibre and yarn information alone is worth buying the book. Thanks, Ivete!
