When I can’t think of anything else to knit, I always fall back on socks. They’re portable, they’re cheap (fairly cheap, anyway), and they’re fast (usually). The one Stashbuster Spiral sock I finished Friday night has been banished to knitting hell (that being located in the bottom of my knitting basket) once I realized it was too long in the foot and too tight in the leg. I like the pattern so I’ll probably make another pair sometime in the future. The Retro Rib socks got ripped out sometime last week and that yarn is now being made into the very pretty Waving Lace (I think that’s what they’re called, anyway) socks from the Spring ‘04 IK. I appear to be on another of my sock kicks, which happens occasionally. A new pattern for the Six Sox KAL will be coming out soon so I’ll have another pair to start (if I like them, they sound interesting).
And if I was a better blogger I would have remembered to take a picture of my Faux-Mohair Cowl sweater but I’m not, so I didn’t, again. I completely forgot about the sweater until I sat down to type this entry and I just don’t feel like getting dressed, setting up the camera, and taking the picture. Too much hassle. I’ll do it later this week, sometime.
