Still no zipper on Mariah. I’ll get it this weekend, pictures should be had sometime next week, I’m not making any promises. I’m not really working on anything else, just swatching and it’s fairly dull stuff.
I haven’t been tagged for that music thing that keeps showing up on the knitting blogs, but I’m doing it anyway. I’m bored, I have nothing else to write about, screw it.
Here goes:
1. Total amount of music files on your computer?
My ‘My Music’ folder says 1,816 files or 9.5 Gb. I also have around 500 CDs and 25-30 records.
2. The CD you last bought is: Vulnerable by Tricky, from iTunes.
3. What is the song you last listened to before reading this message?
“Take a Walk on the Wild Side” by the Velvet Underground.
4. Write down 5 songs you often listen to or that mean a lot to you.
Beli Lugosi’s Dead- Bauhaus
Mad World- Gary Jules (from the Donnie Darko soundtrack)
Pony- Tom Waits
Ponderosa- Tricky
And there are tons of others I could list. These songs, respectively: remind me of my group of friends from high school; the best to listen to while feeling depressed; make me think of an old friend; the song that was playing when a good friendship ended on a very sour note. Though most of the songs are tied to sad things that happened to me, they bring back all these good, old memories and make me feel happy. It’s a strange thing, maybe I’m just to the point where the good memories outweigh the bad. But, it does seem that everything that has happened is tied to a song.
