Camera batteries are dead so no pictures today. The good news is I’ll have a finished (and by finished I mean the knitting will be done, I make no promises that I’ll have it sewn up) Mariah to show off tomorrow! I have exactly two and half rows left on the hood and then I weave in the ends and sew it up. I’m happy. I love it. I was wearing it in my dream last night and if it looks as good in real life as it did then, I’ll be more than happy. Girl With a Pearl Earring is a great movie to watch while drinking tea and knitting. It’s a bit slow so you can keep up with the plot and it’s just a good story.
I’ve made it just past the heel on my sock and I still really like how it’s coming out. I just hope I have enough yarn to knit the second one.
