I’m cheating on my knitting today. I’ve started this crocheted cloche from the Lion Brand website. I bought the yarn for it last week and didn’t want to start it until Mariah was done, but I’m bored and I want something different to work on. It’s not like I don’t have three projects going already, so I just had to start another one.
It looks like I won’t be finishing Mariah this week afterall, but I should be able to pull it off next week sometime. My attention span just isn’t long enough to work on it for more than a few minutes at a time. I did knit it all through the state of the union speech last night (I kept dropping it and yelling “Liar!” through the whole thing, though. The Center for American Progress fact checked the whole thing here).
As for the Spencer, I need to dig up some more yarn for it and I’ve been putting it off since last night. I don’t feel like digging around today. My gauge still seems good on it and it’s progressing fairly well, I just don’t feel like working on it.
And the socks are dull, I haven’t touched them for a week or so. Blah.
