With Mariah, that is. I’ve started the hood and things are going good. I laid the sweater out today (to take a picture of it, just for you but it looks like a big black lump so I’m not posting it) and I don’t know what I was so worried about. Just as I thought, it looks great. I should note that I forgot to do the edge stitches in garter stitch so I’m going to pick up stitches around the fronts and do two rows of garter for a zipper facing. I’m so used to working my selvidge stitches in stockinette that I didn’t even realize the pattern said to do them in garter stitch.
I’m still formulating ideas for my next project. I’m thinking about taking the gray sport weight wool that I have and modifing the Sidways Spencer pattern from the Fall Ik to work with it. I really like that sweater but I’m too cheap to buy yarn right now.
I do have some ideas for the blue yarn (also sport weight). I’m thinking of a pullover with cables at the sleeve cuffs and sides like Rogue, just without the hood. Or not. I don’t know.
