Well, I was going to wait and post this tomorrow, but I changed my mind.
Yesterday I got bored so I decided to go spend the last of my money on cheap Lion Brand yarn at the craft store. I bought some verigated wool/acrylic blend for Clapotis and more of the yarn I’m using on my poncho for Blaze. I won’t be joining the knit alongs for either of these since I’ll be waiting until I finish something (probably the poncho) before I start anything else.
The projects that I have been working on, are coming along great. I’ve knit ten inches on the poncho, I’m considering it half finished. I just started the foot of my sock, so the first of the pair is over half finished. I started a little cross stitch project last night and I’m about half through with it. Of course, I haven’t touched Zigzag or the Sitcom Chic in awhile, but they will be finished in time. And I still have to get off my ass sometime today and do the dishes.
I sat up until 5:30 this morning and finished up The Dark Tower. I’ve been reading this series of books for about ten years and it was kinda sad knowing that I would be finishing it. I am happy with the way the series ended, I don’t think King could have done a better job on the ending, I loved it. It was sad and hopeful at the same time. The last hundred or so pages had me in tears the whole time I was reading, that’s saying a lot, I haven’t cried over a book since I was about twelve (movies are a different story). I’m not going to say anymore since I don’t want to ruin it for anyone who’s reading but hasn’t finished, but you’re either going to love or hate the ending, I don’t think there will be any middle ground on it.
